Talking about the value of neighbour relations at GRESIL

This week we had a chance to participate in a biannual meeting of communal representatives – GRESIL, Group of Exchange and Support in the field of Integration at the Local Level (GRoupe d’Echange et de Soutien en matière d’Intégration au niveau Local). The meeting was organised by the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region, SYVICOL and ASTI and focused on neighbour relations.

It was interesting to discover how different actors define good neighbour relations, as well as see different projects done by the communes regarding this field. A particularly interesting initiative was the Charter of Peaceful Community Living presented by the commune of Dudelange.

After the presentation session, the participants could visit the stands organised by the communes and organisations working in the field of strengthening neighbourhood relations. This is where we proudly presented our WËLLKOMM project – showing the latest developments such as our workshop materials and our online toolkit helping to organise interactive activities during welcome events.
