Meet Anka
Hi! I’m Anka, a high school student with a strong interest in creative problem solving, human centered design, and business. I’ve been fascinated by the intersection of design and entrepreneurship from a young age, and I’m currently pursuing courses in both business and design technology to deepen my understanding.
Why Art Square Lab?
On my first day at Art Square Lab, while helping manage an event, I saw a quote on the wall that stuck with me: “Be greedy for social change and your life will be endlessly enriched.” That line captured exactly what excites me about Art Square Lab: the focus on meaningful, people centered innovation that doesn’t just solve problems, but reshapes systems for the better.
Art Square Lab’s mission to design not just for people aligns with what I hope to learn and contribute to. I’m especially drawn to the approach I’ve seen reflected in the office: Discover, Define, Design, Develop. I’m here to better understand how this process works in real life, how ideas become impactful solutions through thoughtful, collaborative design.
Over the next three weeks, I’m looking forward to gaining hands on experience, contributing to creative projects, and learning from a team that cares about what they do. I’m excited to explore how design thinking can drive positive social impact and help shape the kind of world I want to live in.
