At the beginning of April the group of students from ENAD School in Belval took part in the next phase of the project Be Yoursurf: an exciting adventure and sport trip to Portugal.
One week of surf camp in Cascais was a great chance to:
- learn resilience (keep on moving!)
- challenge yourself and try something new (surf at 7am no matter what are the weather conditions)
- learn from mistakes (stand up, fall down, stand up anyway!)
- ignite a team spirit, offer and accept support
- get aligned with the Mother Nature (adapt to the all ocean conditions)
- try new things (cooking together, new food, first adventure trip)
- visit historical places in Cascais (place of exhale of Grade Duchesse Charlotte in May 1940
- having fun together and designing new dream for future career and education
The students came back very motivated and ready for a new school year!
In next part of the project the students will have a chance to reflect on their trip during the second Design Thinking workshop.
