Our adventure began in 2013, when Magdalena Jakubowska and Piotr Gaweł launched workshops for artists and young people across Poland, Germany, Italy, and many other European countries. These experiences revealed the power of creativity in solving problems. Gradually, they expanded their reach by offering creative workshops for NGOs and companies, teaching entrepreneurs to embrace creativity and creatives to think like entrepreneurs.

Design thinking became the perfect bridge between these two worlds. As we developed our expertise in consulting, co-creation workshops, and facilitation, we saw how this approach places people at the heart of innovation.

Today, Art Square Lab is a service design agency. But above all, we are curious. We love listening to people, understanding their world-views, and discovering what drives them. We capture insights and turn them into opportunities because we believe business value doesn’t need to be invented, it can be “listened out” from the user.

Founded in 2017, Art Square Lab is the first service design agency based in Luxembourg. Since 2021, we have also been a Société d’Impact Sociétal (SIS).

In 2026, after collaborating closely with the agency for many years as an external partner, Emanuele Prestifilippo took over, marking a new chapter in our commitment to design-driven innovation and social impact.
